Certified Auto Repair is locally owned and operated by Isaac Feldman, an auto industry professional with more the 20 years of experience. Isaac took over the shop in 2015, with the goal of continuing and expanding Certified Auto Repair’s excellent reputation for providing San Luis Obispo drivers with dependable, trustworthy auto repair. In 1990, the shop was established as an alternative to the overpriced dealerships, and today, we carry forward that mission by working to save people money whenever possible. Our team is extremely honest—it’s pretty much a prerequisite for working here—and we want to do the best we can for our customers.

Sam is a UTI graduate with more than 10 years of experience working in the automotive industry. In the role of service advisor, he is very honest and genuinely wants to take care of people. In fact, Sam is so dedicated to giving the best and most honest car care advice possible, he has no qualms letting customers know what’s best for them, even if it’s not the best for us.

Eric TracyShop Foreman
Erik is a UTI graduate with over 15 years of auto industry experience. With knowledge of all vehicle makes and models, Erik is very comfortable working on everything from 60s muscle cars to the latest hybrids and electric vehicles. He never quits until a problem is diagnosed, and he always verifies to ensure we’re performing the correct auto repair. Before a car leaves our shop, Erik also performs a very thorough quality control check and vehicle inspection.
Mark FloresAuto Repair Technician
Mark is a UTI graduate who has worked in the auto repair industry for over 10 years. As a factory-trained technician with dealership experience, he is very thorough with his vehicle inspections and diagnosis. Mark is very comfortable servicing all makes and models, including hybrids and electrics.

Gonzalo MendozaAuto Repair Technician
Gonzalo is our scheduled maintenance service and undercar specialist. He has more than 10 years of auto industry experienced and will do whatever is asked of him with a smile in his face.
